Boardroom tables with power built in: the Volta system puts pop-up power modules, under desk units and wireless charging into tables from the Oslo, Italia and Impulse ranges, in rectangular, oval, square and poseur heights, with the connecting chains and UK plug leads to feed them all listed here too. A boardroom table without power is where meetings go to watch laptops die; Volta is the fix done properly rather than a trailing extension lead. Plain tables live over on the boardroom tables page.
Choosing a Volta boardroom table
Pick the table for the room and the module for the meetings. The Oslo Volta comes as a rectangular, oval or 1600mm square table, with extension kits to grow the square as the team does, in white tops with a natural wood edge. The Italia Volta covers the high gloss end, including a poseur height version for standing meetings, and the Impulse Volta on a silver leg frame keeps the boardroom consistent with Impulse furniture elsewhere in the building.
Modules are the detail worth sweating. Pop-up units sit flush in the top until pressed; the four socket module adds a wireless charger; round single socket and under desk three socket units power the quieter corners. Volta pieces daisy-chain with connecting cables from one fused UK mains lead, which keeps the floor box count down. Anything extra you need lives in cable management and electrical.
Finishing the boardroom
Chairs to go around it are under conference chairs and meeting chairs, smaller rooms suit the meeting room tables, and the whole department lives under meeting and conference areas. Rooms that double as training space should consider folding and flip-top tables instead.
Volta boardroom tables in Belfast and across Northern Ireland
Powered tables are an install job, and it is one we do all over Northern Ireland: Belfast, Lisburn, Antrim, Newtownabbey, Bangor, Derry and Newry. Tables arrive built, modules seated flush, cabling chained and tested before we leave, with every box taken away.
The usual mistake is ordering the table and guessing the electrics, then discovering the module and the mains lead were separate lines. Tell us the room size and how many seats need power, or ring +44 (0)2890 770019, and we will spec the table, modules, chains and leads as one order so nothing arrives missing its cable.
