Choosing cable management and power
Count the devices at each desk before choosing anything. Two monitors, a laptop dock and a phone charger fill a standard socket rail fast; the Volta power kits combine a desktop cable port module, an under desk module and a UK mains lead, covering sockets, USB A, USB C, HDMI and CAT6 in one specified bundle. On bench desks, the back to back trays and middle leg infills carry one clean feed down the spine of a whole run of positions.
Sit stand desks need special care, because a rising desk needs slack. The Impulse cable spine for height adjustable desks, and the equivalent Air spine, guide cables through the full travel so nothing snags or unplugs at standing height. If you are buying sit-stand desks, order the spines on the same purchase order; they are the piece everybody forgets and misses most.
Meeting rooms and matching pieces
The Volta round pop up units drop into boardroom tables and meeting room tables so visitors can charge a laptop without diving under the table for a socket.
