Choosing a privacy booth or pod
Match the booth to the noise problem. A full Brixworth booth with high upholstered sides wraps a conversation and keeps most of it out of the room; an open booth is lighter, keeps sight lines across the office and suits heads down work more than confidential calls; a bench booth turns a wall into semi private seating for two, a favourite in receptions and canteens. Two tone fabric picks out the shape nicely and hides wear on the arms.
Position matters as much as the product. A booth in a corner, side on to foot traffic, works twice as hard as the same booth in the middle of a walkway. Remember booths absorb sound as furniture, not as construction: in a genuinely loud office, combine them with ceiling and wall treatment rather than expecting upholstery alone to fix the acoustics.
