Choosing cafe and bistro seating
Match the seat to the table height first. Standard dining height tables around 750mm take the Marlow and the Nest chairs; poseur tables need the high stools, and the Charford and Brayford are the pair we fit most often against breakfast bar style counters. The Nest chairs stack, which is worth having if the same space hosts a monthly all hands, and they share their thinking with our wider stacking chairs range.
Think about wipe down surfaces and floor protection too. Canteen seating lives a harder life than boardroom seating: spills, dragged chairs, hot mugs. Polypropylene and finished timber shrug all of that off, and glides on the feet stop a tiled floor becoming a scratch map. If the space doubles as a casual meeting area, mix in softer pieces from our soft seating collection so it does not feel like a motorway services.
Finishing the space
Seating is half the job. The rest of the breakout and canteen section covers larger canteen and restaurant furniture, stools add low, movable perching, and coffee and occasional tables suit the quieter corners where people take a call with a cup.
