A decent office chair rarely wears out all at once. The gas lift sighs, a castor cracks, the headrest goes missing after an office move, and a chair with years left in it heads for the skip. This section keeps good chairs in service: gas lifts, castor sets, chrome and nylon 5-star bases, and replacement headrests for models from across our seating ranges.
What is on the shelf
Headrests are the most requested part, and we carry them for specific models: the Zure, Victor II, Mirage II, Flex, Denver, Stealth Shadow and Ergo Twist among them. They are model specific by design, a Zure headrest will not fit a Denver, so check the label under your seat or send us a photo before ordering. Gas lifts are far more universal, and swapping one takes ten minutes with nothing more than a firm grip and a rubber mallet.
Castors come in sets, including the Brunswick Deluxe set of five, standard swivel wheel sets and the Impulse castor set of four. If your chair is marking a hard floor or refusing to roll on carpet, the wheels are usually the wrong type rather than broken, and a castor swap is cheaper than a rug. Cracked bases are the one failure to take seriously: replace a damaged 5-star base immediately, in chrome or nylon, because that is the part holding you up.
When repair stops making sense
A part is worth fitting when the chair around it is sound. If the foam has collapsed and the mechanism is tired, look at our task and operator chairs or ergonomic chairs instead of chasing faults one part at a time. Heavier users are better served by purpose built heavy duty chairs, shift environments by 24 hour chairs, and if the boardroom seats are past it, the executive and mesh ranges are where to start.
Chair spares and parts in Belfast and across Northern Ireland
We are a Belfast company and most parts orders go out quickly to offices in Lisburn, Newtownabbey, Bangor, Antrim, Newry, Derry and everywhere between. If you bought the chairs from us we will know exactly which part fits, and if you did not, we will still do our best to identify it.
Not sure what has failed? Tip the chair over, take two photos and send them across, or ring +44 (0)2890 770019 and describe the wobble. Diagnosing chair faults over the phone is a strange skill, but after enough years fitting this furniture, we are genuinely quite good at it.
